PlatXchange app for iPhone and iPad

The PlatXchange application is used by Anglo American Platinum Amandelbult Mine to communicate to all staff members and other users such as the communities in South Africa. The intention of including any users from the community is to communicate any information relating to the mines, which includes recruitment and other social initiatives.

The application uses in-app notifications to communicate various types of messages to all users. The message types include audio, video, text, rich or formatted text and HTML links. It also allows for attachments such as pdf and image files.

Users are also able to respond to the messages, which is relayed back to the senders.
